Each activity uses everyday items like empty wrappers, pens & pencils, socks, books, toilet roll, tape - nothing fancy.
Hang the calendar up and each morning take it down for child to read the page and complete the activity. DON'T LET CHILD READ FURTHER THAN PAGE/DATE YOU ARE UP TO. To avoid this you can hang the calendar up and tear out page each day and have calendar showing the cover page (this will avoid little eyes peeping ahead)
